ABOUT OUR PROGRAM.....
In order to be consisderd for enrollment, every student must:
Attend Grass Valley
Be enrolled in grades K-5 (No TK)
Completely fill out and submit an application.

Applications are distributed for pre-registration for the following year within the last few weeks of school (May-June). There is no rollover. All students must apply annually. (Spaces fill up quickly and are limited.) Students may also apply during school enrollment for the new year, as long as there are spaces available. If the program is full, students will be placed on a waiting list.
Program Fee's go towards our supplies, equipment and additional tutoring services. There is a payment plan available. Please speak with your Site-Coordinator. Students that have paid the program fee will have higher priority during pre-regisrtation.
GENERAL PROGRAM INFORMATION
Students must attend program daily, until 6:00 pm. If your student has other parallel programs after school, you may fill out an "Early Release Waiver" (located inside the application). We do reserve space for students that need program, everyday, until 6:00 pm. Students with excessive absences can be removed from program. If your student has numerous obligations after school and cannot commit to our program, your student may not be considered for enrollment.
Student pick-up is at 6:00 pm daily. Students picked up after 6:00 pm will encounter a late fee of $1.00/minute. Students with excessive late pick-ups, can be removed from program.
ATTENDANCE POLICY/ LATE PICK-UPS
Every student enrolled in our program must immediately go to the cafeteria after school for sign-in. Students cannot wait for parents outside of school if they are not attending program.
Parents MUST SIGN-OUT their students daily. Sign-out sheets will be with the instructors. If you are signing your student out early for a particular reason, you must list an early release code next to your signature. Codes are listed on the sign-out sheets.
Persons NOT listed in your students application for pick-up, will NOT be allowed to sign-out your student. You must list every person allowed to pick up your student in your absence, in the application. Verbal consent is not allowed. Must keep all forms in application updated.
There is a mandatory Parent Orientation at the begining of the school year, usually in September.
Newsletters are sent home at the beginning of every month.
We have a bulletin board outside of the main cafeteria double doors (in the school hallway), filled with program information.
Program closes 3 times out of the year for Staff Professional Development and Training. (October, January and the last day of school).

To engage students in daily social emotional learning strategies within exciting performing arts, life skills, emotional and leadership development curriculum.
